Move It Monday – Every Sweat Counts!

Anyone who says you can’t work up a serious sweat in 15 minutes has obviously never worked out with Chris Downing!

Stop assuming what ISN’T possible and start thinking about what IS, and then put yourself into action and DO IT!

For the record, doubting and naysaying burns approximately 0 calories 😉

Sunday Well Spent – Food Prep

Food prep only has to be this huge production if you want it to be.

If you are like me and don’t like huge productions, or eating food that was prepared too many days ago, tackling just a few things will still set you up for success!

Since my husband usually handles dinner, which becomes lunches, I really only need to focus on the food I start my day with (because when I start it with the right foods, the rest of the day flows… when I don’t, my sugars are all over the place and as a result, my mood is too 😉)

This morning I focused on my fruits, steel cut oats with pomegranates or blueberries, and hard boiled eggs. When you pair that with bananas and other stuff that’s already good to go, you are golden.

And don’t tell me you don’t have an hour – you do 😉

Saturday Strong – Nevertheless She Persisted

Everyone has hardships.
Everyone has obstacles.
Everyone has bad days.

That’s part of life… those not-so-good things {{hopefully}} make you appreciate the good things even more.

Those things only define you if you •let• them.

I’m no different. I’ve faced hard stuff. I’ve scaled obstacles. And I sure as shit have had bad days.

I do not let them define me.

No way am I letting a little not-so-good override lots of good.

‘Nevertheless, she persisted.’

Worth It Wednesday – 24 Hours

What if I told you we all get the same 24 hours in a day?

Because we do. We disperse them differently, but we all get the same.

So instead of saying you don’t have TIME, be honest and admit it’s not a priority, because if it was, you’d make it work with the time you have.

I don’t love being up at 3:45am to workout, and I need sleep like anyone else… but that’s why I get to bed at a decent hour.

I like binging shows on Netflix as much as anyone else, but watching TV til midnight does nothing for my health.

I am worthy. You are worthy.

Make it a priority.

GratiTuesday – Snugglebug Pups!

GratiTuesday!

Yesterday, today, tomorrow… basically all day every day I am so incredibly grateful for this sweet babe and her snuggle-bug ways!

Whether she’s curled up next to me, resting her sweet chin on my stomach, draping a paw over my leg, nuzzled into my neck or full body sprawled on me, I live for her snuggles; I’m grateful for them and reminded how lucky we are to have such a sweet, loving pup!

She makes bad days good and good days even better and I couldn’t love her more! 💕🐾
