Sunday Well Spent – Food Prep

Food prep used to totally overwhelm me until I figured out it didn’t have to be the whole kit-n-caboodle… it does NOT have to be ALL your meals for EVERY day of the week, but rather, a few key components to help you have nutritious, nourishing foods ready to go.

And these key components are different for everyone! Today, I don’t have time to bake, but I’m gonna get my eggs boiled, my fruits and veggies washed and cut, and my quinoa salad ready to go!

It’s worth carving out a little time for your health and wellness 💕

Mindset Monday – Your Biggest Obstacle

• MINDSET MONDAY •

Look, I’m living freakin’ proof that your mindset is not only your BIGGEST obstacle, but it’s also the most POWERFUL puzzle piece.

I used to focus on negatives, zero in on imperfections, give way too much weight to flaws, treat everyone like my personal therapist, and just straight up did not believe in myself. So everything was mediocre.

Because I mean, of course – you CAN’T and you WON’T be able to SHINE until you get your mind right. There is no way around it; your mindset and your belief in yourself are the powerful one-two punch you NEED to be unstoppable.

So, clear the mental chatter and just believe in your abilities, right here, right now. YES, YOU CAN DO JUST THAT. It’s hard, yes (and worth it!), but impossible? NOPE.

Worth It Wednesday – 24 Hours

What if I told you we all get the same 24 hours in a day?

Because we do. We disperse them differently, but we all get the same.

So instead of saying you don’t have TIME, be honest and admit it’s not a priority, because if it was, you’d make it work with the time you have.

I don’t love being up at 3:45am to workout, and I need sleep like anyone else… but that’s why I get to bed at a decent hour.

I like binging shows on Netflix as much as anyone else, but watching TV til midnight does nothing for my health.

I am worthy. You are worthy.

Make it a priority.

Worth It Wednesday – Worthy Of My Dreams

Have you ever doubted you are worth all of your dreams and goals? See, DOUBT is the dirtiest D word I know, and if you let it, it will completely take over your being and send you running in the opposite direction. And then what happens? You get too scared to go after what it is you want (not to mention you are that much further from it!)

First step – REALIZE you are absolutely worthy of your dreams – it doesn’t matter what you did or didn’t do in the past, it doesn’t matter if your dreams seem silly to someone else, it doesn’t matter if they seem a very long shot… nothing else matters but that you realize you are worthy.

Once you can make that shift, I think the rest of it comes much easier but you gotta set the foundation of BELIEVING you are WORTHY, first.

I am working on this – I do pretty well with self belief, but I am no stranger to letting doubt creep in

 

Worth It Wednesday

I don’t know exactly where, but… somewhere along the line, I definitely had a shift. I figured out I am worth all this effort – the reading of personal development, the workouts, the nutrition, the food prep, the growth, the positivity, all of it. All of the various efforts. I am WORTH IT.

And it was when I made the shift to REALIZING I am worth it, that it became less of a chore, and more of something I am GRATEFUL to be able to do for myself.
