I’m just gonna dish out some tough love here: STOP wishing for it and START working for it.
I can barely count how many messages I get that begin with “I wish I was as XYZ as you…” and while it’s flattering, it also makes me feel like people might not realize that if I’m eating well, it’s BECAUSE I prep. If I’m having a healthy pregnancy, it’s BECAUSE I’m moving my body to the degree with which I’m able.
I’m not WISHING for it, I’m WORKING for it, because that, and ONLY that, is how you attain what you are aiming for.
Stop exerting energy on wishes, realize you are WORTH the efforts, and channel your energy into that – you will get MUCH further, I promise.
As always, if you need help, I got you! You are more capable than you think, but you gotta begin!
Is this not the truthiest truth ever?!
I saw this cup in TJ Maxx and its so true I almost had to buy it! (But I don’t need another cup, so I exercised willpower and passed…)
It really does feel like you blink and the entire weekend is gone! I don’t know how it happens every time, but I sometimes wish we had equal weekend and workday time, anyone else?
If you show up once in a while, you might enjoy feeling good once in a while.
If you show up consistently, you might enjoy feeling good a bit more consistently.
You are more in control of it than you think 😉
The holiday season is just so tough. Losses feel more profound around this time, memories flood your emotions…
But maybe instead of telling people to snap out of it and get in the holiday cheer, maybe offer them a hug, a kind word or something?
Most are not trying to be Grinchy. We’re not trying to bring anyone down. It’s just a hard time.
We could all use a little extra love 💕
(Yes, there are exceptions; some are just Grinchy, like this guy 😉)
I swiped this from the incredible Nicole because when she shared it, it stopped me in my tracks and spoke to me… so I thought I would share in case anyone else needed to see this, too.
It’s my job to rise up and do what it takes to heal myself, and I’m worthy of that!
Truthbomb coming at ya! 💣
I would, without a shred of doubt, rather have a limited number of years full of adventures as my authentic self, instead of countless years safe in the corner, or not being true to myself.
No question – I’m all about being true to who Y O U are, standing out and embracing all your quirks and flaws.
In a world where you can be anything, JUST BE YOU. The world doesn’t need anything or anybody else, the world needs •you• 💕
(Oh, and since my shirt is another truthbomb, you get a 2fer1 😊)
Actual message I received:
“I just LVE all you’re posts! Have you ever considered starting your fitness journey?”
So a couple of things here, the first being I get what this person is trying to do, but the problems are 1) it’s clearly a generic copy/paste message, and 2) if you are gonna SAY you love all my posts, please realize that I’m gonna know that’s nonsense the second you pose your question, because while I try not to be ‘in your face’ about my fitness journey, it’s at least evident I’ve STARTED my fitness journey.
Sorry, but messages like that ring extremely hollow and inauthentic to me, and I think we as a society, as entrepreneurs, as network marketers… as HUMANS, are better than feigning interest in someone without being bothered to at least take a quick glance at their page.
Come to me real or don’t come at all ✌🏼#truthbomb
Just my .02, you may keep the change – and if I’m being honest, 3) your*
