… and so that’s what she did! 🏃♀️
I slept in a bit so instead of my usual “run before the sun”, I was running WITH the sun, but since temps are finally not stifling, it wasn’t too bad!
3 miles in the books, less tan 50 to go before I reach the 175 mile goal!
Love this weather! Who else is catching some mileage today?
If you are lucky enough to have a husband who turns the AC on in your bedroom to cool it off and fills your water jug while you are out running, so both are ready to cool you off post-run, I suggest keeping him 😉
Simple gestures can have the most impact!
3 miles in the books for today – the sun isn’t out but I still sweat like crazy when I run, so these gestures are always extra appreciated!
Do you sweat a lot when you run?
That’s what I logged in a 7 day span.
That’s not double my previous weekly stat. And it’s not even triple. It’s MORE than triple!
Does that deserve a golf clap? EFF NO, that deserves a full on clap, and I’m super proud of myself (especially doing it in this dang heat!)
Set goals. Put your mind to it. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. And then just do it – no overthinking, no doubting… just. do. it.
(My graphic is split because Map My Run starts the week on a Sunday whereas Kara starts the week on a Monday!)
What’s the most you have run in one week?
So this morning was my first run/5k since November, and post-80 Day Obsession/Ultimate Reset.
All my runner friends who did 80DO said the program helped their endurance/stamina and so I was hopeful but also skeptical (I’ve gotten my hopes up ENOUGH this week only to have ‘em dashed down, haha)
Well, here we are… having shaved 1:19 off my average pace, I’d say 80 Day Obsession helped MY endurance too!
And FUCK YEAH I’m stoked about THESE numbers! My first 5k I averaged over 11 minutes! (And today’s run was with a sore arch from the yellow jacket sting, too!)
Cheers to always improving!
