Truthbomb Tuesday – Uninspired

Time for a truthbomb!

One of the biggest excuses people give is “I’m too tired”, and I get it. Life is exhausting; I feel you there!

But I don’t think it’s a matter of being TIRED… I think it is more a case of being UNINSPIRED. When you truly want something, it fuels that fire inside of you – you feel jazzed to get to work on it, you draw energy and inspiration from taking action.

Don’t work 8 hours at a job and then go home and NOT work on your OWN goals… if you truly want to achieve these things, you will take at least one step every day towards them, no matter how big or small said steps are.

Thursday Thoughts – Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out

Every once in a while I get this crazy, satisfying, scary yet inspiring feeling that I’m finally making progress to the kind of life I truly want to live. And it’s awesome!

In the past I would be critical of myself, wondering why I wasn’t further along. With a refreshed perspective, I realize that every single step, no matter how small, IS still a step forward!

“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out”

Wednesday Wisdom – Breast Cancer Risk

Did you know…

A study of 32,269 women revealed that about an hour of daily vigirous activity (including housework!) decreases your breast cancer risk by roughly 20 percent?

For me, this is all the more reason to continue on my fitness journey, by exercising consistently. 20% is a decent percentage, and I am of the mind that really, ANYTHING that helps decrease your risk for such an awful thing is beneficial. There is no help too small!
