Ohhh did this soak feel out-of-this-world AMAZING!
I deserved this! My body worked really hard acquiring those 175 miles, in addition to the intense 8 week fitness program I did at the same time.
A little soak helped ease those muscles and restore them, and it felt so good!
Do you like Epsom salt soaks?
After the combined 4.55 I accumulated today on the beach and then with Roxy, •6.05• miles is what separates me from FINISHING the 175 mile challenge by my (amended, due to the brutal summer we had) completion date (tomorrow!)
And thanks to my girl Sara for knowing I’m full of shit when I say an extra day added to my deadline isn’t a big deal (it’s not, in the grand scheme of things… but like she said, I am WAY too close not to just DO IT!)
My body is tired but I can see that finish line, it’s right there! And that’s what I need to keep my eyes on to power me through those 6.05 miles!
“Will she do it?”
Stay tuned! 😉
I mean… I won’t act like I couldn’t have downed 10 scoops of pre workout, because I totally could have!
The air refuses to cooperate here in New England, and my struggle to breathe continues.
3.65 miles in the books – far from pretty, but I’ll take it!
Did you get your sweat on today?
Will run for sunrises!🔅
I LOVE sunrises because I’m a VERY visually oriented person, and sunrises are a gorgeous, very colorful reminder that every day is a new day; a welcome reminder that it doesn’t MATTER what did or didn’t happen last week, and it doesn’t MATTER what will or will not happen next week, that TODAY is a new day to tailor to your needs and to fill up with what makes you happy, what brings you joy, what lights you up.
Don’t worry about the past and don’t fret about the future, just focus on today and appreciate it for what it is – a fresh new slate with which to slay the day!
3 miles in the books today and an absolutely GORGEOUS start to the day humidity, bad air quality and all! The beauty was worth it!
So this morning was my first run/5k since November, and post-80 Day Obsession/Ultimate Reset.
All my runner friends who did 80DO said the program helped their endurance/stamina and so I was hopeful but also skeptical (I’ve gotten my hopes up ENOUGH this week only to have ‘em dashed down, haha)
Well, here we are… having shaved 1:19 off my average pace, I’d say 80 Day Obsession helped MY endurance too!
And FUCK YEAH I’m stoked about THESE numbers! My first 5k I averaged over 11 minutes! (And today’s run was with a sore arch from the yellow jacket sting, too!)
Cheers to always improving!
