Ohhh did this soak feel out-of-this-world AMAZING!
I deserved this! My body worked really hard acquiring those 175 miles, in addition to the intense 8 week fitness program I did at the same time.
A little soak helped ease those muscles and restore them, and it felt so good!
Do you like Epsom salt soaks?
I posted a week ago about my reward to myself for successfully completing Phase 1 of 80 Day Obsession… and then these showed up on sale on Amazon, so I mean, I basically had to!
But really, rather than buy 17 more sets of weights, I liked the idea of being able to go heavier on some moves without adding a gazillion more pieces of equipment, so these seemed like a great investment, and several of my teammates spoke very highly of them, so I am excited to give them a whirl!
I am proud of myself for desiring tangible rewards I can enjoy time and time again as opposed to something I would enjoy for a minute or two… and let’s be honest here, these babies make me feel like WAY MORE of a BADASS than a cupcake would!
You and me, Bowflex… we gonna do BIG THINGS! 😍
When your reward to yourself for successfully finishing phase 1 is not brownies, cupcakes, or ice cream, but rather, new leggings, a new sports bra, a 15lb Kettlebell, and heavier weights so you can kick even MORE ass, you might be OBSESSED 😉
I’m not knocking those who choose/chose an edible reward, this is just how I personally prefer to reward my hard work and dedication to myself!
Wanna join me on my 80 Day Obsession journey? Let’s do it! Start here!
Who’s up for the challenge? I bet if you tried this for 30 days, consciously and consistently, you would notice a difference in your quality of life!
Which of these do you think YOU would find the most challenging? The most rewarding?
What would YOU do if you knew you wouldn’t fail? I mean, don’t get me wrong – failure is not bad. You just gotta fail forward, thats all.
It’s the fear of failure that keeps many people from trying what they most want to achieve.
But what would you do if that something was a sure thing, there was no risk, it was guaranteed?
As an entrepreneur, I had to accept that failure was part of the game. Tough to swallow, but the uptick is that if you are willing to fail forward, you are that much closer, and failing really does give you perspective on just how badly you want something.
Don’t let failure stop you from trying, trying again, and trying again til you get it. That’s the only REAL failure, is not even taking the swing.
Happy Monday! I love this simple concept because with most things in life, there is risk attached somewhere. And most of us are hardwired to at least give a thought or two to such risks. The really enlightened, empowered people don’t give it much thought, instead thinking about the potential to soar, not fall on their faces.
Oh but still some others get stuck in a web of “what if I….”, and this is when it’s important to remember that we all fall. We all have missteps. We all screw up and have to start over. But those of us who really want to reach our goals and achieve our dreams… we DO. We DO screw up and have to start over, sometimes. We go for it, failing forward, because that’s the only way to go forward.
Life is full of risks. Nothing is gonna change that. You can shy away from risks and live your life in a comfortable, albeit boring, bubble. Or you can take the leap, elevating yourself to a higher existence, soaring.
What if you fly?
