Why do the holidays make people so rude?!

So happy the holidays are making some people extra friendly, kind, patient and generous…

Just kidding, it’s making some people absolutely nuts!

Luckily not everyone is like the majority of people I encountered today!

Finally!

This is years and YEARS in the making… introducing, my new baby! 😍

I have wanted a Mac since I was a teenager (I’ll let you do that math!) In college, many of my fellow design students had them, and to say I was jealous…

But let’s be real… Macbook’s are NOT cheap. I could not justify the expense, not when I had credit card debt, and student loan debt to be paying off. Being smart financially is NOT always easy…

But I worked REALLY hard to pay my credit card debts off – and this was gonna be my treat to myself, especially because this would help me with everything, my business included.

I wasn’t YET ready to make the splurge… but then a couple of weeks ago, I accidentally kneeled on my current laptop, effectively shattering the screen into a million fragments, and rather than toss money to repair it when I was planning to get a new computer anyways… I made the jump!

Fun fact: when your new MacBook Air is scheduled to be delivered between 2-6 November, but instead comes super early on 30 October, while you have no power and can’t do a damn thing with it for 30 hours? NOT SUPER FUN, a little on the taunty side… 😉

And yes, I am IMMENSELY proud of how hard I have worked to pay down my debt, and purchase my computer in cash, completely paid for – the beautiful result of HARD WORK to build my business and make SMART financial decisions!

What is something you are working towards crossing off YOUR vision board?

Transformation Tuesday – Pushups

I HATED pushups.

I couldn’t do them.

They caused pain in my shoulders, a lingering injury from a car accident many moons ago.
And they made me feel WEAK.

And I hate feeling weak (does anyone actually ENJOY that?!), so I would avoid doing them. I would just chalk it up to I am not meant to do pushups, and do something less painful. No harm, no foul right?

Wrong. Because DOING them – first in a modified format, then in the real way – is what strengthened me. I participated in my own group called Guns Buns and Abs, and each day called for additional pushups… and so I did them. And I got better. And somewhere along that line, the pain stopped.

Pushups stopped being a source of PAIN, and started being a source of PRIDE.

If you take any moral from this, it’s your only limitations exist in your head. EVICT them, and watch yourself FLOURISH!

Do you struggle with pushups?

Friday Fit Tip – Be Patient

Happy Friday guys! Who’s crushing a workout today!?

Couple of things here… I see this in my groups and such sometimes. The journey to weight loss, or just being healthier, does not at all happen overnight. You don’t blink and suddenly have the body you have always wanted.

It takes time. And sure, it probably feels like it takes a lot longer than it does, but just stay with it. Be patient. Keep going, don’t get discouraged. Trust the process, do the workouts, stick to your clean eating, and just have some faith.

Your hard work WILL pay off — but if you give up, it won’t!

Be Patient
