Doesn’t matter if it’s only 5 minutes… deep breathing in fresh air is amaaaaazing for your well being, and I mean with beauty like his, how can Friday be anything less than awesome?!
I truly adore my home state, how could I not?
I mean, did you really think I was leaving the store without this shirt?!
Of. Course. Not.
You know, I often hear the refrain “but it’s easy for you”, and I would like to respectfully disagree – it is never easy for me.
You think waking up at the hour that I do is easy? It definitely isn’t, especially when I have a snugglebug dog snuggled up to/on me… it is not easy to peel myself from that and workout, trust and believe that!
But the other alternative is to wish, hope and pray for strength and wellness… and that’s not me – I am action-oriented. I need to be doing, not dreaming.
It is not easy, but it is necessary, and it does get a little bit easier once you get into the habit, I will admit that much.
But please don’t assume this is easy for me – I battle as much as anyone else, I just do what it takes to WIN said battles (most of the time 😉)

What’s a girl to do when her accountabilibuddy is going off the grid for two weeks to enjoy her vacation with family and disconnect a bit?
Well if you are me, you soak up one last Saturday zoom workout together at the ripe hour of 0330!
So while I’m super sad we will go from talking all day and night on multiple platforms to barely talking at all due to no service, I’m so happy she’ll get some super quality time with her fam – and I’ll miss her!

I find it to be 100% true and accurate. When I actually got over my “I’m sleepy” state of mind, and SAW how starting the day off with the right tone actually changed the whole mood for the day, I was hooked. That’s a really powerful, empowering feeling, and I find it motivating every day to chase that, mornings when it just sometimes doesn’t come together, it is a HUGE shift in energy.
I let that fuel me – nothing like heading into your office, getting there at 0730, and already having had done your grueling workout, showered and gotten dressed, drank your superfoods, done your affirmations, driven into work (26.2 mile drive) while pep talking yourself (cannot listen to audio PD so I do my own!), AND done some personal development.
So basically, no matter what happens, some of the crucial components? ALREADY DONE!
