Motivation Monday- Push Through!

Last week was draining, I am just gonna own it.

But that’s last week. This is a new week now, and in HONOR of it being a new week, I am setting up to make today AMAZING, tomorrow AMAZING, the rest of this WEEK amazing.

Because I can. Because it’s just a bad day/week, not a bad life.

I just keep going.

If the road gets rough, stop, catch your breath, remind yourself you can do hard things, and keep pushing!

Motivation Monday – Today is a good day to kill it

Ahhh, the Monday after a long holiday weekend, the first one of the holiday season, AND the last one in November? I know, you probably wanna do nothing more than binge Netflix and relax (just me!?)

BUT…

This is a great day to be productive, to set the tone for how you want your holiday season to go, to maybe check 1 or 2 boxes off your to-do list, and also set the tone for the week!

Monday is waiting for you. Go!

Make It Happen Monday – Promises to Yourself

Did you know that we are much, much more likely to honor promises made to other people, than we are to ourselves?

Truthfully, it is easier to break promises made to ourselves than it is to someone else, yet keeping our self-promises builds the self-efficacy and self-confidence upon which character is based. If you want to feel like an unstoppable badass, start by keeping the promises you make to yourself when nobody’s looking.

You are worth keeping your word to yourself!

Monday Musings – Say Hello

When you walk through a store or down the street, do you greet people you come across? I used to always have my face down, no eye contact made, and just doing my thing… but about a year ago, I started looking up, making eye contact, smiling, and saying hello, and it’s so simple, but makes you feel so good.

There are tons of things that wouldn’t even exist if not for someone saying hello – you might never have talked to your spouse, you may never have met your best friend, you may never have come across the business partner with which you created an awesome company…

For me, someone looking to help people change their lives, and the world, it starts with saying HELLO. Without greeting people, the relationship will never begin to build, and that’d be quite a pity.

Go out and say HELLO.

Motivation Monday – Cheers

The Monday after an awesome, inspiring, enlightening, education, and just plain effing awesome vacation? My only thought is cheers!

Cheers to this beautiful life. Cheers to having the strength and stamina to go after what we want. Cheers to being strong, resilient ladies (and gentlemen!). Cheers to being here experiencing this roller coaster called L I F E.

I raise my glass to you, girl boss. Let’s go do big things!

Mythbusting Monday – No Pain No Gain

Mythbusting Monday!

Unless you live under a rock, you have heard this term before – no pain, no gain.

There is a HUGE difference between soreness, and actual pain. It is normal to be sore; that does indicate your muscles have been working, but pain is not normal. Actual pain can indicate several things – you may be doing your moves wrong, you may have an injury you are unaware of…

I personally do not subscribe to this line of thinking, because I do have former injuries I have to be cautious of. If something is actually causing me pain, I stop. If it persists, I get checked out.

I do push through soreness, because how else is one to improve!?

Motivation Monday – Arrows

Happy Monday! This concept has been a little too close for comfort lately but, to its credit, it’s helping me stay encouraged!

So for my part, to the best of my ability (I will confess to having some bouts of monentary doubt, but I mean, I AM human), I am trusting the process, focusing on the next adventure, staying positive, and PREPARING to LAUNCH.
