Move It Monday – Heroic

You know what I find heroic?

Yes, of course our military, first responders and their families/the people who support them, absolutely!

But I also find it heroic when someone decides to love themselves as they are, while also loving themselves enough to show up to be even better.

It IS heroic when someone realizes their self worth enough to know they are great, but can be even greater. To show up, shine their light, and be their brightest self.

It is NOT selfish to take the time for yourself and your wellness – I do it now and I will continue doing so through my pregnancy AND after the baby is here.

It might be a little more challenging, but when have you ever known me to back down from a challenge?! 😉

Motivation Monday – Cheers

The Monday after an awesome, inspiring, enlightening, education, and just plain effing awesome vacation? My only thought is cheers!

Cheers to this beautiful life. Cheers to having the strength and stamina to go after what we want. Cheers to being strong, resilient ladies (and gentlemen!). Cheers to being here experiencing this roller coaster called L I F E.

Success Tip Saturday – Seek Knowledge, Not Results

As with all things, your intention is key! Seek knowledge, not results.

If you choose to focus on the excitement of discovery, improving, exploring and experimenting, your motivation will always be fueled.

Conversely if you choose to focus only on the results, your motivation won’t be able to sustain the ebbs and flows of life.

So the key here is to focus on the JOURNEY not the destination! Be open minded about what you can learn along the way, and be humble enough to be willing to improve!

Mindset Monday – The Power of Yet

Do you know the power of YET?

There is nothing you can’t do. You just may not be able to do it YET. Hold this vision, and keep going until you can. You get better. You get stronger.

You may not be able to do it YET, but the only thing stopping you is if you DON’T continue to keep going. The power of your mind is everything.

It’s not a permanent inability to do something… you just can’t do it YET!

Wednesday Wisdom – Reflect

I have been doing a lot of reflection lately – it’s very empowering! There is something to be said for being honest and open about things, and choosing to put your time and energy into where it matters, rather than sending it to a dead end.

We only get 24 hours in a day. We gotta make them count. We don’t get this time back, so make sure you are happy with where y our time and energy are going, and make sure to reflect often and ensure they align with your vision and your goals.

Thursday Thoughts – Feeling Good

The end result of anything you do should be to feel good. If something doesn’t make you feel good, it might be time to figure out if it’s a necessary part of your life or not. My business partner and I have been doing a lot of this sort of soul-searching lately, and really trying to cut out things that don’t make us feel good or serve the bigger purpose.

It’s not always easy but I think its a necessary move to make if one wishes to achieve their business goals. We only have so many hours in the day, there will always be little nuances here and there we don’t enjoy and may not be able to outsource. but most of us could stand to just say ‘no’ to something we don’t want to do.

Is this you? I am reminded of this quote by Abraham Hicks, and how simple but right he is – feeling good is top priority. Try eliminating (or people, etc) things that don’t make you feel good, and see if that helps you. I know it’s helped me, and the clarity that comes along with focusing my efforts and energies on what DOES matter, what DOES make me feel good, is unparalleled.

You are allowed to feel good!

Tip Tuesday – Late Night Snacks

Whyyyyyy is it so easy to snack at night?! I can’t be the only one!?

Obviously there are sensible snacks, and snacks you really shouldn’t eat just before going to a sleep state for 8 hours.
