Factbomb Friday – The world does not revolve around you…

(Not my post, but…)

I’m curious what my service industry friends (and anyone else) thinks of this…

How would YOU have responded?

Even though I’m not in the service industry per se, I’ve had clients message me, and when I didn’t answer swiftly enough for them, they’ve sent question mark messages or gotten upset, and I’ll be honest, those are the people I back off of. Sorry, but I am at no ones beck and call 24/7, and people need to understand that.

I’m a full time worker, a wife, a dog mama, soon to be a human mama, and I have responsibilities just like everyone else.

And also, I agree with this person – I am no good to anyone else unless I’m good to myself. I will offer you the absolute best I can, but EFF someone thinking I am out of line for taking care of myself and my wellness.

Seems like someone never learned what happens when you assume…

What say you?

Wellness Wednesday – Today is a good day…

Today is a freakin’ BEAUTIFUL day to…

… STOP apologizing for what you want to go after.

… STOP hating your body.

… STOP playing the comparison game.

… STOP saying yes when you want to say no (and also stop saying NO when you want to say YES!)

… STOP doubting yourself.

… STOP doing shit you hate.

… STOP limiting yourself.

and

… START doing the things that set your soul on FIRE

What are you going to go after today?!

Sunday Vibes – Balance is KEY

So when I post things like pics of lasagna, or last nights cheesy as eff au gratin, it usually gets me a private message or two from well meaning (I hope?!) people who ask if as a Diabetic, I should be eating that?

For me personally, I’m fine with indulgences like that because I go to great lengths to make the majority of my nutrition cleaner and healthier, so those treats are just that – treats.

They are the exception, not the rule.

I don’t believe in deprivation, I believe in LIVING life while we have a life to live, and YES, that includes things like cheesy potatoes and cinnamon rolls, too!

The rest of my life is balanced out enough between my nutrition and my fitness efforts that I don’t order a side of guilt when I indulge – I ENJOY it and recognize it as the TREAT it is.

Balance means different things for different people, but I love that so many people follow my journey!

Thursday Thoughts

What do YOU want to experience in this lifetime?

French philosopher Pierre Tielhard de Chardin is often credited with saying “We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

The truth is, none of us know how long we are here for so why not start experiencing what your heart desires… today?

Why do so many of us put off what we desire?
