We are having our yumminess a day late, because I was too full yesterday!
Baby will enjoy his or her first zeppole, and so won’t mom and dad!
Would I eat this every day? No (but I could, easily!) but I look forward to this splurge every year and I enjoy every bite with absolutely ZERO guilt.
I’ll take some extra insulin and enjoy every morsel – Diabetic or not, life is short; you DO have to live a little, dontcha know?! 😉
Did you enjoy a zeppole this year?
Came across this quote and fell in love with it. Whatever you are going through, the storm will pass. Embrace the idiosyncracies, as they tend to happen for a reason; each serves a purpose.
It’s all part of life!
Hehehe, just goes to show you what happens when you believe in yourself! *wink*
Ever heard this term? I hadn’t until a few months ago when I was focusing heavily on permanently evicting my negativity.
As you have probably picked up on by now, I have been working extensively on my mindset over the past year. I have come far, but still a work in progress.
Are you generally a positive or a negative person?
I have been doing a lot of reflection lately – it’s very empowering! There is something to be said for being honest and open about things, and choosing to put your time and energy into where it matters, rather than sending it to a dead end.
We only get 24 hours in a day. We gotta make them count. We don’t get this time back, so make sure you are happy with where y our time and energy are going, and make sure to reflect often and ensure they align with your vision and your goals.
Obviously, we would all rather be on vacation, or much more frequently than we are. And even if you love your job, coming off a vacation-high and going back to work can be draining, and make you long for the days you were only concerned about mai tai’s and the lazy river.
But if you find yourself TRULY depressed, or upset to be back home, it might be time to reassess life and see if you might need to make some changes. After all, a proper vacation should make you appreciate your life more, not depress you and make you even more down about your life.
Post vacation is a great time to gauge how things make you feel and decide if you shouldn’t bite the bullet. After all, your end goal is to create a life you don’t need a vacation from!
Being that I am on vacation this week, and focused on enjoying my time with my family, I am keeping this week’s nlog posts light (but I could never go a week without connecting with you guys!)
One of my favorite quotes of all time. If you don’t love it, time to change that so you do! 🙂
A little levity on a Monday never hurt anybody, right? Shake it! 🙂
