Wednesday Wisdom – Your Life…

This includes all the less-than-ideal situations, too. It is all a part of the master plan; all facets exist for a reason.

I know, I don’t love it either, but it is what it is… have some faith and trust the process!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, dear readers!

It’s been quite a year for me – full of ups and downs, highs and lows, pain and growth… I won’t bore you with the details (or the list!), but while there have been some pains, there have been some gains, and I am excited to focus on a bright, shiny new year, and curious to see what the year has in store for me.

I love a new year because, while I don’t make resolutions, I do set goals and work on myself throughout the year, and a new year just provides a fresh new slate, and I love the fuzzy feeling of a clean beginning!

Do you set goals? Have any fun New Years eve plans? Are you excited for a new year, too?

Thanks for being along on my journey – ┬áI am excited to connect with you even more in the new year!

Mindset Monday

Having been working extensively on my negative mindset for almost a year now, it’s interesting to reflect.

On the one hand, I have come pretty far, and it has paid off greatly in so many different areas of life – I am now a firm believer that mindset really is the biggest piece of any puzzle. I see how much easier life is with a positive outlook and a firm belief in my ability to get through whatever life throws at me.

On the other hand, becoming so aware of mindset heightens my awareness of how negative other people (and this world in general) can sometimes be, and it can be quite a battle not to fall down that rabbit hole.

I am still a work in progress, which is why this is such a battle – as hard as I work, it is sometimes so easy to fall back into old habits!

It is worth the battle though, because truly, shifting my way to a more positive mindset is one of the greatest projects I have ever taken on!

Motivation Monday – Cheers

The Monday after an awesome, inspiring, enlightening, education, and just plain effing awesome vacation? My only thought is cheers!

Cheers to this beautiful life. Cheers to having the strength and stamina to go after what we want. Cheers to being strong, resilient ladies (and gentlemen!). Cheers to being here experiencing this roller coaster called L I F E.

I raise my glass to you, girl boss. Let’s go do big things!

Thursday Thoughts – What sets your soul on fire?

Ever been asked that before? If so, have you given it some thought? What sets your soul on fire?

Never pondered such a question? I invite you to do so!

For me, creation… helping people… staying true to myself and creating a better life for myself, my family, my future… those are things that set my soul on fire and keep me going when it gets tough (spoiler alert: it does!), but the alternative is quitting which wouldn’t make anything better, so its awesome to take those things and use them as fuel.

If something doesn’t make you happy, or fill you up, maybe it’s time to focus on the things that DO. Design your life, don’t just go to the default.

Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets YOUR soul on fire.

Success Tip Saturday – Seek Knowledge, Not Results

As with all things, your intention is key! Seek knowledge, not results.

If you choose to focus on the excitement of discovery, improving, exploring and experimenting, your motivation will always be fueled.

Conversely if you choose to focus only on the results, your motivation won’t be able to sustain the ebbs and flows of life.

So the key here is to focus on the JOURNEY not the destination! Be open minded about what you can learn along the way, and be humble enough to be willing to improve!
