As with all things, your intention is key! Seek knowledge, not results.

If you choose to focus on the excitement of discovery, improving, exploring and experimenting, your motivation will always be fueled.

Conversely if you choose to focus only on the results, your motivation won’t be able to sustain the ebbs and flows of life.

So the key here is to focus on the JOURNEY not the destination! Be open minded about what you can learn along the way, and be humble enough to be willing to improve!

  1. Know what you want, and why you want it.
  2. Make a plan for how your going to make it happen
  3. Surround yourself with like minded people who make you feel positive, and distance yourself from the people who make you doubt yourself
  4. Be disciplined with your time – don’t put off what you need to do. Get it done.
  5. Get yourself in a winning frame of mind.
  6. Have the courage to take risks and make your dreams come true.
  7. Don’t limit yourself – remove the barriers and believe that it’s possible.
  8. Do not be afraid to stand out and be heard.
  9. Stay focused on what you want to achieve.
  10. Be positive!

Why is the start so hard? Because it marks the beginning of change, of something different.
And sure, that’s daunting and overwhelming… but that’s also how you get going, how you become better, and shine brighter, and grow more.
You really don’t have to be great to start, but you do have to start to be great. And once you are going, you will look back and wish you had started sooner!

Transformation Tuesday – Being a Beachbody Coach

“The privelege of a lifetime is being who you are” …

A couple of my fellow coaches and I hosted a webinar where we shared our stories, and how being a Beachbody Coach has changed our lives (the very reason this blog exists is because being a Beachbody Coach gave me the confidence to do it!)

I am the second speaker, and while my speech isn’t perfect or anything, it took a lot for me to do something live like this… I have always been a little shy on that front due to a sudden, profound hearing loss in both ears around age 10.

So when my success partner and I decided to do this, I was a little nervous! But truthfully, any nerves were worth working past, because being a Beachbody Coach has really changed me… not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well! And it feels like it would be a waste to not share what it has done for me, and help others see what it could do for THEM.

Take a look, if you would like. See how I have come out of my shell, embraced all that life has to offer, and changed the financial reality of that and my husband – and we’re just getting started!

There is, TRULY, more to life than just going to work and paying your bills. It’s called LIFE because its meant to be LIVED!

 

 

Friday Fit Tip – Be Patient

Happy Friday guys! Who’s crushing a workout today!?

Couple of things here… I see this in my groups and such sometimes. The journey to weight loss, or just being healthier, does not at all happen overnight. You don’t blink and suddenly have the body you have always wanted.

It takes time. And sure, it probably feels like it takes a lot longer than it does, but just stay with it. Be patient. Keep going, don’t get discouraged. Trust the process, do the workouts, stick to your clean eating, and just have some faith.

Your hard work WILL pay off — but if you give up, it won’t!

Self Love Saturday

Happy Saturday!

Life has been busy lately with yard clean up, and projects, and working full time, and continuing to elevate my businesses, and my workout program (done tomorrow!), and the Guns Buns and Ab’s Challenge… I love a busy life, and I love going to bed every night knowing I had a productive day.

But whew….. easy to forget to show yourself some love while you are busy doing anything and everything, huh? I can’t be the only one that falls into this trap?

My husband gifted me a certificate for a massage for Christmas, and I thought it would be great to use after the crazy packing and moving spree we went on… I never did get around to it and then I jumped into Hammer & Chisel, and it didn’t make sense to get it done then, so I told myself my reward for finishing Hammer & Chisel would be a nice massage – after all, my muscles need it now more than ever!

Self worth is vital to happiness

I find this to be so true – we need to give ourselves more credit, and we need to feel our worth to truly feel good about anything else! You work hard – don’t forget to give yourself much-deserved credit!

Flex Friday

Yeaaaah, its Friday! FLEX Friday to be precise! My last Flex Friday before finishing Hammer & Chisel and taking my measurements and after pics!

I definitely do, and even if not, I FEEL stronger, and I have learned to embrace that this journey is more about how you FEEL and less about how you LOOK, so either way, I am super happy!
