Work For It Wednesday – Lifting and HIIT’ing!

Tried the sampler of the new workout coming out soon today… lifting and HIIT’ing?! I liked it!

Definitely feeling that, and 30 minutes feels like a breeze compared to what I am used to – but all that does is prove you CAN get an effective workout in 30 minutes, so there’s no excuse why YOU can’t be a badass!

I’ll be sprinkling some of the moves in throughout my stories today – check em out!

Move It Monday – Scissor Pushups!

You guysssssssss! This program – specifically Dynamic Strength… whew! It’s a lot of pushups!

I gripe about it but I remember back when I couldn’t even DO a real pushup on my toes, so that tempers it a bit — feels good to see how far you have come!

This one really works your core, because of the scissor/twist motion. I feel it while I am doing it AND after I am done, haha.

Workout Wednesday – Core de Force

On Monday, there was a Sneak Peek on Beachbody On Demand for their newest program coming out October 31 – Core de Force! Of course I gave it a try – I LOVE MMA-style workouts, and I have been excited for this to come out since they announced it at Summit in July!

It was a lot of fun, as I expected it would be – energetic trainers, moves easily broken down, effectively work your core (and your whole body, really, to some degree!)…. I loved it and really can’t wait for it to come out at the end of the month!

Workout Wednesday – Coming Soon: Core de Force!

One of the best parts of Summit was the announcement of a new upcoming program with Beachbody’s newest SuperTrainer, Jericho McMatthews. She was previously associated with Les Mills, but now she’s with Beachbody, and I could not be more excited about it!

I got a chance to workout live with her both at Summit, and at the recent Super Saturday in Boston – she has a REALLY amazing energy, upbeat attitude, an engaging nature, and a killer sense of humor. To say nothing of how strong and in shape she is!

I am excited for her new workout with Joel Freeman to come out this November. Core de Force is a fabulously high energy, core-defining workout that requires NO equipment – great for taking it on the go with Beachbody On Demand!

Oh man, seriously, I am SO excited about this one! Les Mills Combat was one of my favorite workouts, what I called my soulmate workout, and I was beyond bummed when they severed their connection to Beachbody. Happy to have Core de Force to give me my fix, I LOVE MMA workouts 🙂
