Who needs a snack?!
I like to pack some fiber into my snacks because Fiber is a a Diabetic’s best friend, and it fuels me and fills me up!
This comes in at about 6g of Fiber – derived from the pear. You can top the cottage cheese with flax, poppy seeds, cinnamon…
Do you like cottage cheese? The texture turned me off for a long time, but I like it here and there now.
Pssst… wanna know a secret? I LOVE coconut. Like hands down, if I could pick one flavor, one scent, one taste, this would be it. Coconut has this way of transporting me (if only in my mind!) to a tropical island. It’s like instantly, it transport’s me to a beach-bum state of mind.
And I love it!
It’s super versatile, too. I am a HUGE fan of using it in my Shakeology – coconut water, coconut milk, coconut extract… YUM!

I had a Prickly Pear martini once, and I loved it! Trying to mimic the flavors in Shakeology, this is pretty good!
I love Shakeology because with 7 flavors, the combinations are endless, and it’s fun coming up with new recipes, new flavors, new concoctions! My Shakeology often has a banana in it – I just love bananas. I also love Cinnamon! You can substitute all water in place of Almond Milk if you would like – this is typically what I do (I don’t like to drink my carbs – unless its coffee or Shakeology!)
If you freeze the banana beforehand, it will create a thicker consistency.
Yep, another one using the newest Shakeology flavor – there are just so many tasty combinations, I am on Cafe Latte overload! Forgive me, won’t you? 🙂
This one is actually really terrific for allergies and battling a seasonal cold. Tasty, citrussy… definitely awakens your taste buds, thats for sure!
Please note: the tea needs to be cooled – Shakeology is not compatible with being heated, and any hot liquids will deplete the nutrients, and we can’t have that!
I love Peanut Butter… Mocha I can take or leave, but sometimes you DO want that nice rich taste, but for me, it works best sparingly. The drizzle of Maple Syrup here really sends this one into decadence for me – its delicious!
