Happy February, happy Friday!
Bloodwork today, hoping that it reflects the insulin is continuing to do its job, and if so, discussing the possibility of getting off the pills, as I donât feel they did anything and I think everyone knows how I feel about pharmaceuticals (I realize and accept that I am now married to insulin for life…)
But if not today, we are closer; I know it!
I did a thing tonight after watching my girl Sara handle her own like a boss…
No one died, no spoons were harmed in the harvesting, AND it was easier than I thought!
Fresh pomegranate, yum! Twice as much Pom for half the price when you do it yourself đ
Do you know how to crack a pomegranate?
YUM!
Goooood morning! đ
Doesnât matter if itâs only 5 minutes… deep breathing in fresh air is amaaaaazing for your well being, and I mean with beauty like his, how can Friday be anything less than awesome?!
I truly adore my home state, how could I not?
Happy Friday!
We all have stressors.
We all have âstuffâ.
But the healthiest, happiest and most successful people are the ones that learn to cope and manage all of that instead of letting it CONSUME them.
What works for some might not work for others.
I am forever a work in progress with coping and handling stress, but compared to how I used to âcopeâ, I am so very proud of how far I have come.
And I used to think I was âtoo busyâ to take five minutes to appreciate fresh air, sunshine and the peace and quiet… but it turns out making that a priority helps everything else!
Coffee helps, too đ
Happy Friday!
I canât be the only one thatâs really, ridiculously happy itâs Friday, can I?!
And a long weekend too?! Itâs like Santa came early đ
 whooooa, weâre halfway there…
Ahhh, nothing like a little chocolate drank that will help my little legs RECOVER from that all-HIIT leg workout while celebrating the fact I am ALREADY halfway through this program!
In a fun mental flashback, I recall when the idea of completing a program start to finish was not only intimidating, but TERRIFYING.
Since that âlimited mindsetâ, I have completed upwards of 10 programs start to finish, and I love doing that… however challenging, no matter how many moves make me feel like Iâm dying, no matter the obstacles, I love rising up and seeing it through til the end; itâs a powerful reminder that I can do hard things as long as I BELIEVE I can do hard things!
Have you completed a program start to finish before?
Guysssss! Last night I got to hop on a Zoom team call with the creator of the next program I am taking on – the one and only Joel Freeman!
So excited to see what his program has in store – his 4 days a week is PERFECT to supplement my extra focus on running as I continue my quest towards 175 miles this summer!
It’s like the Universe and Joel conspired to create a perfect hybrid, just for me đ
Heâs so excited to launch this program, his energy is contagious! I canât wait to rock it!
Have you given any thought to trying it with me? It’s not too late and it’s the perfect commitment for Summer!
Whoâs in?! Join me here!
Friday LIFE tip – stop giving an eff about what anyone else thinks of your fitness efforts!
If you enjoy something and itâs not hurting anyone else, who cares what they think?!
Truly, I never thought some people would react so negatively to me just trying to keep my health in check… but luckily, I realized it doesnât matter what anyone else thinks, so thatâs not where I focus my energy – I channel that energy inward and focus on myself, because thatâs the whole point!
You do you, and let others do them.
(Oh and maybe if you see someone working on themselves, whether itâs your thang or not, maybe just applaud them? Be an encourager, the world has enough critics!)
