Transformation Tuesday – 21 Day Ultimate Reset

Nope, it’s not a date. It doesn’t need a dollar sign. And it’s not a score.

It represents what I LOST in toxic/gunk-filled inches, during my 21 day experience known as the Ultimate Reset!

And 4.25 might not seem like a lot but, I will tell you something, ridding your body of that much toxicity really does something to ya! It’s hard to put into words but I just feel so fresh, so cleaned out and light.

It literally feels like someone hit the Reset button and eliminated years and years of bad habits, chemicals (I wasn’t always as food-wise as I might be now!), and tons of other stuff that was bogging me down!

If this doesn’t lend credence to the notion it’s all about what you do/don’t eat, I don’t know what will. Other than yoga 3 times a week, I didn’t work out the whole 3 weeks, so these results are ALL nutrition-based!

Now, I just wish there was a way to measure what it did for me MENTALLY, because wow, did that ever help!

I’m baaaaack!

I’m baaaaaack! Man it felt SO good to lift again!

Okay full honesty here: today’s workout was definitely kind of humbling, BUT, I expected it would be and I was okay with that. I wouldn’t expect a re-entry into strength training after a 3 week hiatus/cleanse to go perfectly smoothly anyways, right!

In the past, I would have been frustrated about that… but I’ve grown so much and I’ve gotten a different perspective on things, that now I know I can ease back into it and get back to the badass that takes on intensity and crushes it!

And muscle has memory, so I’m good!

Movement Monday – Stretch and Release from 80 Day Obsession

You wanna know something?

It’s kinda tough to go from intense workouts 6 days a week to 3 weeks of no workouts, only gentle movement.
So I had said I was gonna see how I felt when I wake up as to whether or not I “sleep in” or get up and move…
Well I mean its Monday and thats a really difficult day for me to do nothing, so I did Stretch and Release (from the program I just finished!) and look who joined me for some stretching (my babe LOVES her a good stretch!)
It felt good to S T R E T C H!

Transformation Tuesday – Gentle Cleanse

4¼ inches. Gone. And NOT missed.

Those inches were eliminated from my body during a gentle cleanse I took on last week!

I had been so weighed down with all the lingering summery splurges, and holiday indulgences, and as active as I am physically, that still isn’t enough to override some terrrrrible eating habits.

What, you think I like the fact that nutrition is quite a big chunk of wellness? No, but it is… so I gotta roll with it!

Honestly I think most people know by now I don’t really care about weight or pounds lost – I care about how I FEEL (cleaned out, energized, mentally sharp and oh, not to worry, still super sassy! 😉)

Tip Tuesday – Natural Detox

Once in a while, we all feel a little bogged down (especially in the areas that actually go through Winter!)

It’s nice to have the ability to detox a little bit, without doing anything extreme, or too harsh for your system.

These are some plant-based chelation (detox) therapies helpful in cleansing and detoxifying the body, but gently! You will never find me encouraging or championing anything rough or extreme, ever. I just simply do not agree with putting ones body through that.
