All the feels…

I don’t usually share these things but does this one not hit you RIGHT in all the feels? My goodness…

What’s a fond memory you have of Toys R Us?

Farewell to my fave doc!

Today I had my last appointment with this guy, my eye doc, because he is embarking upon the slightly slower paced life known as retirement… and I cried!

Because… little known fact about me, but I dread most doc appointments. Suffering a sudden, profound hearing loss in my Tweens, I was poked, prodded, tested, examined, and hooked up to machines CONSTANTLY growing up. I know, it all served a VERY good purpose, but as a young kid, it can be exhausting and overwhelming, too.

And especially, having lost one major sense, I was always VERY hypersensitive to my eyes, but this guy ALWAYS put me at ease with his manner, always explained what he was doing so I could understand, and never made me feel like a baby – I always got some laughs at my appointments with him and I mean, have we met? LAUGHTER IS MY HAPPY PLACE! A doc’s office doesn’t usually bring about such a happy vibe! 😊

I know, it’s silly, but it is what it is… He always made me feel much more relaxed, and I think that’s really an extremely important trait in a medical professional!

Do you have a doctor your life that you just adore?

Truthbomb Tuesday – Traveling

Mmm, yeah, this about sums it up! Part of why I am working so hard to grow my business and give myself financial freedom is so we can travel more – I envision traveling all over with my children, like I did with my parents!

So traveling may not always be free (though with my Coach business, the potential is there to earn free travel!), but by working hard and growing my income, it IS more affordable and much more possible (and, I am assuming, a lot more fun when you aren’t needing to put it on credit cards!)

Did you travel a lot as a child? Do you travel more as an adult?
