Stop whining about XYZ, and DO something about XYZ😉
You get a LOT more accomplished when you put your feet to the ground and make moves instead of sitting on your ass bemoaning all the stuff that is wrong with the world (and to be fair, there is a lot wrong in this current landscape, at least where I am from – the USA – but that just means we need MORE action and less griping!
Opinions are great, and we need diverse perspectives… but opinions change nothing.
When you walk through a store or down the street, do you greet people you come across? I used to always have my face down, no eye contact made, and just doing my thing… but about a year ago, I started looking up, making eye contact, smiling, and saying hello, and it’s so simple, but makes you feel so good.
There are tons of things that wouldn’t even exist if not for someone saying hello – you might never have talked to your spouse, you may never have met your best friend, you may never have come across the business partner with which you created an awesome company…
For me, someone looking to help people change their lives, and the world, it starts with saying HELLO. Without greeting people, the relationship will never begin to build, and that’d be quite a pity.
Go out and say HELLO.
Time for a truthbomb!
One of the biggest excuses people give is “I’m too tired”, and I get it. Life is exhausting; I feel you there!
But I don’t think it’s a matter of being TIRED… I think it is more a case of being UNINSPIRED. When you truly want something, it fuels that fire inside of you – you feel jazzed to get to work on it, you draw energy and inspiration from taking action.
Don’t work 8 hours at a job and then go home and NOT work on your OWN goals… if you truly want to achieve these things, you will take at least one step every day towards them, no matter how big or small said steps are.
In less than a week, I get to see some of my tribe at Coach Summit in NOLA. I see the local ones at trainings and such, but we are scattered throughout the country, so I am excited to see the ones not so local.
These people have propped me up when I am down. They have helped me with notes, with calls, with confidence, with mindset, with everything under the sun.
I am THANKFUL for them, and GRATEFUL for them. I am blessed to be part of this team; blessed to link arms with these men and women, and march on in our quest to better ourselves, our lives, the lives of others and the world. I didn’t know when I decided to become a Coach that my cup was going to feel so very full, but I am so grateful for it.
No one stands alone, for it truly takes a village!
