Holy smokes, today’s cardio workout also had a lot of leg work, and dang if my legs aren’t extra feeling that after a rough leg day yesterday!
whooooa, we’re halfway there…
Ahhh, nothing like a little chocolate drank that will help my little legs RECOVER from that all-HIIT leg workout while celebrating the fact I am ALREADY halfway through this program!
In a fun mental flashback, I recall when the idea of completing a program start to finish was not only intimidating, but TERRIFYING.
Since that “limited mindset”, I have completed upwards of 10 programs start to finish, and I love doing that… however challenging, no matter how many moves make me feel like I’m dying, no matter the obstacles, I love rising up and seeing it through til the end; it’s a powerful reminder that I can do hard things as long as I BELIEVE I can do hard things!
Have you completed a program start to finish before?
What, did you think I was gonna leave the store without this?! OF COURSE I WASN’T! 😍
There was no chance this wasn’t becoming part of my famous workout wardrobe!
(And yes this is from a kid’s clothing store – perks of being tiny but mighty!)
One of the moves from today’s cardio workout – whewwwwwww! The sliders really add a few elements of WORK!
Sorry, all… I took a brief hiatus from blogging due to a very tragic death in my family and my inability to fully process things, but… the good news is, I am back! The even better news is, yesterday I spent the day getting CERTIFIED to teach Country Heat LIVE – so who’s gonna join me for some classes?!
If you are local to Rhode Island (New England area – have Instructor status, will travel!), I would love to connect and turn the Heat up together!
Who says you can’t get a solid cardio workout done in under 20 minutes?! Little known secret – you CAN!
And bonus: this is another one that requires no equipment – where will you take your workout today?
Happy Saturday, guys! First one of May, and so as a tribute to the warmer weather, this one requires no equipment, so you can take it anywhere your heart desires!
If the weather is cooperating in your area, feel free to take it to a beautiful park – pay no mind to anyone else, and don’t be self conscious if you think they are watching you – invite them to join you in getting your fit on! 🙂
I try to remember this when my workouts go long (my current program sometimes goes to 63 minutes on doubles days – whew!), that it’s all for a reason!
Exercising for longer than 30 minutes shifts the primary macromolecules that are metabolized from glucose to fatty acids. Just keep going!
The question: can you get an intense Cardio workout in 15 minutes?
The answer: YES! And you can take this one to the pool, to the Beach, a park… it’s great!
See? Would I lie to you?! 🙂
