Where are all my fellow planners at!? There is nothing wrong with planning… but you also have to be executing, and doing the work. You can plan and plan and plan til the cows come home, but without actually setting those plans into motion, you are gonna hit the wall, the dead end quickly.
In fact, my Beachbody business has taught me to adapt a bit more – I am still a planner by my very nature, but I am getting better at going with the flow, and executing, and leaning as I go instead of waiting for a plan to be perfect before I begin to execute.
Make sure you are focusing more on putting in the work – executing – and less on planning!
I see this a lot, especially on social media, as everyone is promoting different things, and there are some who think the best way to get people to use THEIR stuff is to bash the OTHER stuff. I don’t subscribe to this line of thinking, personally.
I believe different needs can be filled by different things, and contrary to popular belief, there IS enough room for all of us.
So I ask of you – are you a girl, or a woman?
I really love coaching because in a world full of things I can’t control and don’t enjoy, Coaching allows me to control several facets of my life, fuel my feel good tank by helping others feel good, and I ENJOY helping people, I ENJOY keeping myself accountable, I ENJOY my groups, teambuilding, biz powwows, and team calls!
Oh, and making some extra cash to pay off debt and do more good in the world with? YEAH, I enjoy that! Just being honest!
When you find something you enjoy doing, it doesn’t feel like work. And feeling like you are in control of some things? THAT is a pretty awesome feeling.
Ever given some consideration to seeing if this opportunity is for you? Because there is no obligation — no contracts, nothing like that. Like it? Run with it. Don’t feel it’s for you? No hard feelings and you will never have to wonder.

Can you think of any others?
First Monday of the new year! Let’s talk M I N D S E T.
I stand by this opinion with every fiber of my being. I get it, taking risks, being vulnerable, failing… all of them are scary. No one WANTS such things to happen… but that is life. An oops means you at least tried, you know one way or another. How can failing forward possibly be worse than never trying at all?
Love this lady! I am not crazy into fashion but I can always applaud a strong businesswoman, and her words here are SPOT. ON.
We’re always so critical of ourselves, always nitpicking.
Be your own best friend! Celebrate your accomplishments the way you would celebrate your best friends. Be strong. Be a role model. Be your own best friend, never being afraid to give yourself a reality check, or props for a job well done!
Yes, this week’s posts are mostly Summit related – I am soaking in all of this INCREDIBLE energy, and I honestly cannot wait to get home and apply everything.
I left last year’s Summit with an INSANE amount of energy and belief in myself, and my biz partner and I spent the whole flight home masterminding how to grow our businesses and achieve our goals. Of course, last year after Summit I had to dive right into finalizing wedding planning and all that came with that…
But this year… ohhhh… I am married, I have nothing else stopping me from taking all of this momentum and DARING to SUCCEED.
So exciting – the beauty of Summit is (besides reuniting with your teammates scattered all across the USA) is you get SO much knowledge and inspiration and energy and insight jampacked into such a short time. It’s exhausting but SO empowering.
Wanna come with us next year? We’re hitting another awesome city – to be announced! – and you can join us!
Team Rise to Shine would love to help you shine your light on the world, and help others do the same!
In my business, I am surrounded by people who have achieved various levels of success within Beachbody, and it’s radical. The stories they tell of overcoming so many hardships to achieve this success bolsters my belief that despite my OWN hardships (plentiful!), especially lately, I can still achieve the success I want to.
It’s hard to believe that sometimes, honestly. A hit or two won’t usually derail me, but in full disclosure, when they keep coming as rapidly as they have lately, even I start to doubt myself. But that’s part of the problem!
I need to stop focusing on what’s gone wrong lately and get back to appreciating what’s gone right, and keep focusing on my journey. I let myself get distracted by other stuff, and other people, and for an empath who absorbs all of the feelings, that’s bad, and it took a toll on my esteem, confidence, morale… everything!
So for right now (and maybe permanently, hopefully) I am focusing less on those who don’t add much, or anything to my life, and going back to eagerly studying those who are making it work, until I get it into my head that I, too, can make this work, despite any obstacles.
If you are also feeling like you are forgetting the bigger picture, dial it back in, and get back to focusing on those goals you want to crush and dreams you want to achieve. It’s never too late to course correct!
