Soul Food Saturday – Best Self

What if I told you that you aren’t competing with anyone else?

Because you aren’t.

Your efforts to show up and better yourself are JUST. THAT… efforts to better YOURSELF and be YOUR best self.

So there’s no need to compete. No need to be jealous or to cut down anyone’s accomplishments. Applaud their efforts and then focus on your own.

Imagine if we all channeled our energy into our own wellness instead of comparing ourselves with others or worrying about what they are or aren’t doing? 😉

Wednesday Wisdom – Sensitivity is a Gift

Truer freakin’ words…

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told I’m too sensitive, and I used to see that as a bad thing, but not anymore!

The world NEEDS more sensitive, empathetic people. It’s HARSH out there, and it’s so easy to feel alone, but we are never alone!

Less looking down on people who are sensitive, more looking up to people who can see outside their own problems and show compassion for others 💕

Truthbomb Tuesday – Quality not Quantity

Truthbomb coming at ya! 💣

I would, without a shred of doubt, rather have a limited number of years full of adventures as my authentic self, instead of countless years safe in the corner, or not being true to myself.

No question – I’m all about being true to who Y O U are, standing out and embracing all your quirks and flaws.

In a world where you can be anything, JUST BE YOU. The world doesn’t need anything or anybody else, the world needs •you• 💕

(Oh, and since my shirt is another truthbomb, you get a 2fer1 😊)

Live Limitless – Just Be

This is seriously one of the simplest, yet most profound nuggets of advice I was ever given, and I could not be more grateful to the friend who really helped imbed this one into my head and my heart. It has stayed with me ever since.

Just be. So simple, but so powerful.

Be you. Be who you are. Be natural. Be real. Be honest. Be open. Be daring. Be everything. But above all else, be you.

Just be.

Truthbomb Tuesday – Don’t Be A New You

Instead of making this a new year for a “new you”, let’s be clear – you DO NOT need a new version of you. What you need is to be the realest, and most authentic version of you.

And THAT means having the courage to OWN what YOU want out of YOUR life – not what anyone else wants. What YOU want.

It’s time to get clear on that, come as your authentic self, and make NO apologies about it.

Just be YOU.
