Transformation Tuesday – You Can’t IMPROVE If You Don’t BEGIN

5 years ago, a 25 minute cardio workout would floor me (as in, I’d lay on the floor for minutes after, trying to catch my breath and process what the eff just happened!)

5 years ago, I couldn’t do a real push-up to save my life (I mean, I suppose if you held a gun to my head, the adrenaline might work in my favor… but it wouldn’t be pretty!)

5 years ago I couldn’t even run half a mile without cramping up and struggling to breath (and now 3 miles is a shorter run for me!)

I could go on and on.

5 years ago I couldn’t do a LOT of things that I can do now.

And that’s not to be braggy, it’s to show you the power of consistency – every day you show up, you get better. Stronger. Faster.

It comes easier – not because what you couldn’t do CHANGED, but because YOU CHANGED.

For 5 years now I have been showing up daily, consistently (and yes, I do pride myself on my consistency because many days, the struggle is fuckin’ real!) and working on myself.

I joined arms with others wanting to work on themselves, and together we push, we progress. The support and accountability have been GAME CHANGERS.

Some of these changes have physical transformations, but the real power lies in MENTALLY realizing I am capable of a lot more than I give myself credit for. And it’s empowering to continue to work towards being ABLE to do what I may not CURRENTLY be able to do.

You can’t IMPROVE if you don’t BEGIN.

Thankful Thursday – Variety

You wanna know why I’m excited about some of the program announcements we saw at Summit?

Because they’ve got shorter workouts (20 minutes!) for those who don’t want to/can’t work out for an hour a day.

They’ve got programs with 4 workout days and 3 rest days for those who aren’t down with 6 workouts a week (or those looking to supplement a running schedule – like me!)

The beauty is in having something for everyone!

I am thankful for that!

Feel Good Friday – BELIEVE in YOU

The truth is, it doesn’t matter who else believes in you – it matters that YOU believe in YOURSELF.

Years ago, I didn’t. I was negative, full of self doubt, too scaredycat to do MANY thingS, and I couldn’t even fake it… I simply didn’t believe in myself.

It’s been a LOT of growth, personal development, leaping out of comfort zones, being gentle with myself, being willing to fall, fail, and fail forward, and aligning myself with people who only want to raise me up!

And through this journey that’s extended over 4 years now, I’ve become the biggest believer in myself. I KNOW I can do hard things. I KNOW I can rise above, and I KNOW I am worthy of good things.

The power of believing in yourself is simply unparalleled – if YOU are looking for some love and support on YOUR journey, I’ve got you!

It would be an HONOR to crush life alongside of you and help YOU develop YOUR sense of belief in yourself

Thankful Thursday – Success Group

I am so. very. thankful for my Success group and all of the amazing women in it – it’s become a community, a family; perfect strangers have merged into a beautiful support unit, and we weather the good, the bad, the ugly, and all of the in-betweens, together, in a judgment-free zone.

It’s evolved beyond just fitness, and it’s become everything related to life.

And I LOVE that my ladies feel safe enough and supported enough to share their struggles, their challenges, their tough decisions… These are our lives, it’s not always pretty. It’s not always easy. But we get through everything, together.

There are some of us in there going through some really real stuff, and the uplifting support shown to each other is so beautiful. It’s why we do all of this – we rise by lifting others, and we are better, together.

My challenge group has just been crushing it – people successfully staying on track during vacations, people showing up despite life chaos, people dropping several sizes, and just being badasses who show up, and it’s freakin’ amazing.

It’s inspiring. It’s awesome. It’s everything!

It’s WHY we do this!

Sunday Shakeology – Shakeology Wall

I am always amazed by this wall – it contains a visual representation of all the amazing goodness found in Shakeology.

Sometimes people balk because Shakeology is “processed” because yes, the ingredients are turned into powder form… but it’s a different kind of processing than stripping the nutrients, adding chemicals and preservatives.

This is the MAGIC of Shakeology. The nutrition data is just a small piece of what’s actually in Shakeology. The true magic is in the superfoods/herbs listed on the back of the bag and includes such superfoods as Maca and Goji berries.

Thankful Thursday – Opportunity

I really love the coaching opportunity because in a world full of things I can’t control and don’t enjoy, Coaching allows me to control several facets of my life, fuel my feel-good tank by helping OTHERS feel good, and I ENJOY helping people, I ENJOY keeping myself accountable, I ENJOY my groups, team-building, and biz powwows, team calls and all the other fun stuff!

Oh, and making some extra cash to pay off debt and do MORE good in the world with? YEAH, I enjoy that! Just being honest! 🙂

When you find something you enjoy doing, it doesn’t feel like WORK. And feeling like you are in control of some things? THAT is a pretty awesome feeling!
