Stop assuming what ISN’T possible and start thinking about what IS, and then put yourself into action and DO IT!

Saturday Sweat – Accountabilibuddy

Sometimes you just gotta get your Saturday sweat on with your best fitness partner, no matter if she’s in Michigan and you are in Rhode Island – Zoom for the win! 😍

It stinks we can’t get together in person as often as we would like, because we live further away, but I take any FaceTime I can get with this girl!

She tried the new Shift Shop sampler while my winking pumpkin shirt and I crushed shoulders!

Transformation Tuesday – LIIFT 4 Results!

8 weeks, 32 workouts, 6.25 inches

So I mean, could you imagine what a transformation I might have if I could get my nutrition dialed in?!

I might be unstoppable! 😉

I’m still pretty happy with my results, but I am also a little relieved that summer and it’s abundance of parties and cookouts and BBQ’s (oh my!) are on the way out!

I don’t struggle with fitness nearly as much as I struggle with nutrition, so for the next go, I am FOCUSING more on nutrition – I NEED that!

Friday Fitness – LIIFT 4

Guysssss! Last night I got to hop on a Zoom team call with the creator of the next program I am taking on – the one and only Joel Freeman!

So excited to see what his program has in store – his 4 days a week is PERFECT to supplement my extra focus on running as I continue my quest towards 175 miles this summer!

It’s like the Universe and Joel conspired to create a perfect hybrid, just for me 😉

He’s so excited to launch this program, his energy is contagious! I can’t wait to rock it!

Transformation Tuesday – You Can’t IMPROVE If You Don’t BEGIN

5 years ago, a 25 minute cardio workout would floor me (as in, I’d lay on the floor for minutes after, trying to catch my breath and process what the eff just happened!)

5 years ago, I couldn’t do a real push-up to save my life (I mean, I suppose if you held a gun to my head, the adrenaline might work in my favor… but it wouldn’t be pretty!)

5 years ago I couldn’t even run half a mile without cramping up and struggling to breath (and now 3 miles is a shorter run for me!)

I could go on and on.

5 years ago I couldn’t do a LOT of things that I can do now.

And that’s not to be braggy, it’s to show you the power of consistency – every day you show up, you get better. Stronger. Faster.

It comes easier – not because what you couldn’t do CHANGED, but because YOU CHANGED.

For 5 years now I have been showing up daily, consistently (and yes, I do pride myself on my consistency because many days, the struggle is fuckin’ real!) and working on myself.

I joined arms with others wanting to work on themselves, and together we push, we progress. The support and accountability have been GAME CHANGERS.

Some of these changes have physical transformations, but the real power lies in MENTALLY realizing I am capable of a lot more than I give myself credit for. And it’s empowering to continue to work towards being ABLE to do what I may not CURRENTLY be able to do.

You can’t IMPROVE if you don’t BEGIN.

YOU are the best damn project you will ever work on… are you ready to show up daily {{ FOR YOURSELF }} and ditch the excuses?! Let’s do it!

Thankful Thursday – Variety

You wanna know why I’m excited about some of the program announcements we saw at Summit?

Because they’ve got shorter workouts (20 minutes!) for those who don’t want to/can’t work out for an hour a day.

They’ve got programs with 4 workout days and 3 rest days for those who aren’t down with 6 workouts a week (or those looking to supplement a running schedule – like me!)

The beauty is in having something for everyone!

I am thankful for that!

Feel Good Friday – BELIEVE in YOU

The truth is, it doesn’t matter who else believes in you – it matters that YOU believe in YOURSELF.

Years ago, I didn’t. I was negative, full of self doubt, too scaredycat to do MANY thingS, and I couldn’t even fake it… I simply didn’t believe in myself.

It’s been a LOT of growth, personal development, leaping out of comfort zones, being gentle with myself, being willing to fall, fail, and fail forward, and aligning myself with people who only want to raise me up!

And through this journey that’s extended over 4 years now, I’ve become the biggest believer in myself. I KNOW I can do hard things. I KNOW I can rise above, and I KNOW I am worthy of good things.

The power of believing in yourself is simply unparalleled – if YOU are looking for some love and support on YOUR journey, I’ve got you!

It would be an HONOR to crush life alongside of you and help YOU develop YOUR sense of belief in yourself

Thankful Thursday – Success Group

I am so. very. thankful for my Success group and all of the amazing women in it – it’s become a community, a family; perfect strangers have merged into a beautiful support unit, and we weather the good, the bad, the ugly, and all of the in-betweens, together, in a judgment-free zone.

It’s evolved beyond just fitness, and it’s become everything related to life.

And I LOVE that my ladies feel safe enough and supported enough to share their struggles, their challenges, their tough decisions… These are our lives, it’s not always pretty. It’s not always easy. But we get through everything, together.

There are some of us in there going through some really real stuff, and the uplifting support shown to each other is so beautiful. It’s why we do all of this – we rise by lifting others, and we are better, together.
