Saturday Sweat with my best accountabilibuddy!

It’s been a whiiiiile since this chick and I worked out together, mostly because she’s still rocking the 4am workouts and well, frankly, the only thing this prego is rocking these days at 4am is sleep (or a potty break!), but today the stars aligned and we were able to rock it out together (at 6am, NOT 4am haha)

Might be our last workout together for a while, since baby could come any day and then I’ll be on workout hiatus for a while, but we enjoyed today!

Since today was a full length leg day, having her smiley face motivating me to keep going most definitely helped!

Move It Monday – Finished Transform: 20!

Guess who just finished Transform: 20?! We did!

First time we’ve finished a program together in the same place, not separated by a screen or thousands of miles – I like it!

It’s also the first program I’ve started and finished pregnant, which definitely added some challenge and took away some energy, but again, my goal was to move, not to crush any records!

Another completed program in the books! 🙌🏼

Transformation Tuesday – Handling Frustrations!

It’s Tuesday, so let’s talk about a little •transformation•, shall we?!

In a bit of a testament to how far I’ve come mentally/handling frustrations, when my BOD disconnected this morning and wouldn’t reconnect, while I was barely 1/3 of the way through my workout, instead of getting pissy and frustrated like I normally would, I simply decided since Sara was doing the same workout and we were on a Live Zoom, she could be my trainer and I’d just follow what she did!

Stayed calm and made it work 🙌🏼

Troubleshooting technology at 4am is not my idea of a good time, but I also didn’t want to miss my workout!

It was much better to just workaround it than to spend time and energy being frustrated and fiddling around.

I wouldn’t always have such a “shit happens” reaction (because you don’t eff with a girls workout/stress relief!), so it was nice to see how far I’ve come, and I’m proud of myself!

Saturday Sweat – Accountabilibuddy

Sometimes you just gotta get your Saturday sweat on with your best fitness partner, no matter if she’s in Michigan and you are in Rhode Island – Zoom for the win! 😍

It stinks we can’t get together in person as often as we would like, because we live further away, but I take any FaceTime I can get with this girl!

She tried the new Shift Shop sampler while my winking pumpkin shirt and I crushed shoulders!

Saturday Sweat – Earlier Than Usual!

You thought our normal workout time was early?!

What’s a girl to do when her accountabilibuddy is going off the grid for two weeks to enjoy her vacation with family and disconnect a bit?

Well if you are me, you soak up one last Saturday zoom workout together at the ripe hour of 0330!

So while I’m super sad we will go from talking all day and night on multiple platforms to barely talking at all due to no service, I’m so happy she’ll get some super quality time with her fam – and I’ll miss her!

Saturday Sweat – Back to the Zoo!

In other “things I said I wouldn’t do” news…

I went back to the Zoo, voluntarily! And it was a BREEZE compared to back when I was in Phase 1 of 80 Day Obsession! It’s always fun to go back and see how much you have improved, how much stronger you are (and in full transparency, how less WINDED you are, haha)

Felt good to get my sweat on early so I can get some stuff done today and still know that I’m making my wellness a priority!

Self Love Saturday – Gentle Movement

During my Reset, I have been doing gentle movement every couple of days to keep myself loose, but also enjoying the break from 6 days on, to let my body rest and work from the inside. I thought it would be a struggle, and some days it is a struggle to not lift, but it’s been nice to take it a little slower, too.

Today I did some Yoga and that felt pretty good! Of course, I did it via live Zoom with my best gal, my success partner – she in Michigan, myself in Rhode Island, because it doesn’t matter how far apart we are, we make it work!

Felt good to stretch and get some movement in!
