Cutest little patriotic pup here wishing you a happy day of fun and celebration!
(And she has a favor to ask about the fireworks… 😉)
(ps, y’all have no idea what it took to get a decent pic with that scarf on!)

Have a safe and happy 4th of July!
Any fun plans today?
America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand. Harry S Truman
Be careful in your celebrations today! Remember what this country is all about, and do your part to uphold that! Live a little, enjoy some BBQ, watch some fireworks shoot off (from a safe distance) and just celebrate the day for what it is – the birth of this nation’s independence 🙂
No better reason to celebrate than the birth of your country’s independence, huh? 🙂
Happy early 4th of July – one of my favorite holidays!
Here is a very tasty way to get your red, white and blue in – you can also sub Vanilla Shakeology and put fresh strawberries in, if you would like!
What are your plans for the holiday?
This is one of my favorite holidays ever – despite it’s flaws, I love this country and I am 100% dedicated to it. My family members fought hard for the freedoms and rights, and I honor this by being as Patriotic as I can be. I am proud to live in this country (but we could stand to get back to some of what makes the USA so great….), and I am proud to celebrate Independence Day! I am proud to be American (and I work hard to dispel the stereotypes put forth about Americans).
It’s always a fun day, very upbeat, fireworks, just a good time. I love it… I love good old Americana! 🙂
Doing anything fun for the 4th? Have fun, and be safe! 🙂
Okay I don’t mean to sound demanding and dramatic, but I AM SO HAPPY its a long weekend! I need this… things have been crazy lately, we have been burning the wicks at both ends, and there is just not enough time to get it all done sometimes!
I’m excited for this long weekend because not only will we be celebrating one of MY favorite holidays – 4th of July – we will be seeing tons of friends and family, and enjoying spending quality time together!
Yes, its true, I wish I was at the Grateful Dead 50th Anniversary shows in Chicago with a huge handful of my favorite people…. and I tried to make it happen, I really and truly did! Post office messed up and so my request for tickets never went through, and while I can afford to pay what secondary markets are asking for, but it’s a bit rich for me to justify, since we are saving for a house and a honeymoon, and our future. It’s a tough pill to swallow but we will enjoy the live stream, which is better than nothing!
What are you up to this holiday weekend? Anything fun?
