I came hard for Monday mornings workout – after all, it’s day 1 of my program…
… and then Monday came hard for ME, in the form of a sinus infection.
Does this make us even Stevens? Because that’s what I’m telling myself… 🤣

Day one or one day?
Choice is yours!
Today was supposed to be my day 1 of the updated, relaunched 21 Day Fix, but there is a slight delay with the captions (and captions contain important info like cues, safety information, counts etc) so I might push it off a bit and wait for the captions so I can do it safely and effectively instead of bumbling my way through (which isn’t something I’d do anyways, but certainly not pregnant, where doing a move wrong could be extra dangerous!)
I still got a workout in, which is good, because I had something stressful to face today and I needed the release!
What’s your go to when you have to face something you’d rather not?
Ahhhh… the egg. So versatile. So tasty! This is a great way to prepare breakfast for almost a whole week! And since we all know how food prep and getting things ready to grab is key, this is perfect!
Also 21 Day Fix-friendly for those of you following that meal plan! 🙂
Yum! I love taco’s and I love Zucchini, so this is a win, easily!
It’s 21 Day Fix-approved, too!
Do you like Zucchini?
Sometimes, you just want pancakes. Tasty ones! This is a fantastic way to achieve that!
I truly love pancakes, but these push me right into springtime, and I love it! Enjoy!
A couple of coaches and I have a new 21 Day Fix Accountability Group forming online, and we start on March 14! I am extending the invitation to you, dear readers, so if you would like to join us and get fit, let’s chat!
As many of you know, this was the program that helped me learn proper portion control, and to really see what food groups I over/undereat. I was very happy with my results, and I have done several rounds of the 21 Day Fix. I like this because I get bored easily, so 21 days was doable.
The workouts are definitely not a cakewalk, but they are doable for people at all fitness levels – there is a modifier for those who cannot jump, go balls to the wall (yet!), or might be rehabbing an injury, etc.
For me, as a Diabetic who needed to get a handle on nutrition, this program was worth its weight in gold. I am not a numbers person – I don’t want to count calories. This program made it possible to nail my nutrition without math or any frustrating calculations. It’s simple. It’s effective. And it’s fun, too!
These groups are game-changers. They are a safe, convenient place for people to share the ups and downs, relate to others, hold themselves accountable, get motivation, recipes, tips… the power of being part of a like-minded community is incredible, and is exactly why I have stayed dedicated to my own journey for so long, through the trials and the triumphs!
If this sounds like something you feel would help you on your journey, let’s connect – I would love to have you join our inspiring, uplifting community!
If you would like to try the 21 Day Fix, you can purchase it here. If you prefer a 1-2 punch, both the workout and a month’s supply of Shakeology, saving $70 instead of buying them separately, that can be found here. But above all else, feel free to connect with me and say “HEY, I’d like to start my journey – I’m ready!”
My husband and I had this for dinner Monday night, and it was delicious! I am absolutely CRAZY about bell peppers, raw or sauteed, and so this was right up my alley! We used our panini maker for this.
It’s great because I love grilled cheese, but adding some veggies helps make it a little healthier, and it added a lot of flavor and texture too! I am excited to make this again! I should note, we used yellow and orange bell peppers, but really any bell peppers can work!
Do you like grilled cheese? Do you like to add stuff to it? Does adding stuff make it a sandwich?
New recipes make me happy. I love to experiment! I also like to take some basic recipes and add my own tweaks here and there – sometimes a simple tweak changes the whole thing!
This one is based off the 21 Day Fix recipe, and I haven’t tweaked it yet because I have seen no need – its delicious as is!
I LOVE Butternut Squash, outside of Butternut Squash Soup, I haven’t had butternut squash in soups or stews too much – not sure why, but it works really well!
This one is really hearty, but sometimes thats just what you need!
Got a big day ahead of you? You plan to start it off properly then, riiight? It’s not a myth – skipping breakfast is TRULY one of the biggest mistakes you can make!
This is perfect (and pretty easy!) for the morning of a big day – you wouldn’t send your kids out the door to school on test day without a proper breakfast to fuel their minds and bodies, would you? So why would you skip it yourself? Nope, no skipping breakfast! Start your day off right with Power Protein Egg Cups – a fueled mind and body are much, much more capable.
I like this because you can make several portions, and they reheat well! Plus, its 21 Day Fix-friendly, and you know how much I love my Fix portions!
Enjoy! 🙂
