Truthbomb Tuesday – Ready to be done being pregnant!

•Ready•

If you’ve been pregnant, you’ve most likely gotten to a point in your pregnancy where, even if you are a little scared, you were READY to be done with pregnancy, and ready to “graduate” to the next stage – motherhood; ready to meet the little baby that’s been kicking and punching you for months now! No? Just me? 😉

That’s where I am. I’m just READY – for as scary as the unknown is, I’m just so. very. ready. to meet my baby, ready to kiss and snuggle, ready to see if it’s a boy or a girl, ready to not be pregnant anymore…

I have LOVED being pregnant, but I’ve reached the point where I’m just ready for the next stage – at what point did YOU reach this stage?

I’m 38 weeks today and I cannot wait to meet this little nugget!

Truthbomb Tuesday – Be Gentle, It’s a Tough Time

The holiday season is just so tough. Losses feel more profound around this time, memories flood your emotions…

But maybe instead of telling people to snap out of it and get in the holiday cheer, maybe offer them a hug, a kind word or something?

Most are not trying to be Grinchy. We’re not trying to bring anyone down. It’s just a hard time.

We could all use a little extra love 💕

(Yes, there are exceptions; some are just Grinchy, like this guy 😉)

Truthbomb Tuesday – My Reaction Is My Path

•The way you treat me is your path. The way I react is mine•

This has been one of the hardest, but also most worthwhile lessons to learn.

Realizing that people can (and sometimes do) whatever they want, feelings and consequences be damned, is a tough pill to swallow…

But there is power in remembering that while we can’t control the ACTIONS of others, we can control our REACTIONS.

Truthbomb Tuesday – VOTE

You ARE free to do what you want.
Or not do what you don’t want to do.
You are FREE to choose.

But you are not free from the consequence of your choice 😉

That’s the #truthbomb for ya today.

(ps: on social media, I have seen some people picking on/mocking the people who cared enough to vote and use their voice, and want to let the world KNOW that they realize that voting is both a right AND a privilege by proudly displaying a sticker… why? Why are we cutting people down for that again?

I took a selfie with my sticker because sticker or not, I’m PROUD to be able to vote, GRATEFUL to have the right, and THANKFUL enough to exercise it! The sticker may be just that, a sticker… but it also represents something much bigger, something much deeper. 🇺🇸

That you are more concerned with someone’s sticker than you are about working towards change and using YOUR voice says way more about you than it does about anyone else.)

Truthbomb Tuesday – Quality not Quantity

Truthbomb coming at ya! 💣

I would, without a shred of doubt, rather have a limited number of years full of adventures as my authentic self, instead of countless years safe in the corner, or not being true to myself.

No question – I’m all about being true to who Y O U are, standing out and embracing all your quirks and flaws.

In a world where you can be anything, JUST BE YOU. The world doesn’t need anything or anybody else, the world needs •you• 💕

(Oh, and since my shirt is another truthbomb, you get a 2fer1 😊)
