I was inspired after a chat with a fellow runner, one who is a large part of why I even took this summer challenge on, so since today is a rest day in my program, I set out to do my thang, log a couple of miles and just keep on keeping on… every bit helps, right? (Right!)
I haven’t run this far since I was a teenager, and for some reason as yet unknown, I did it the day after an all-HIIT leg day?! What the hell was my thought process there?! 😩
I survived… I’m sore, but I feel a little bit like a badass, and this means I’m just a little over a mile from my next feat – a 10k!
