Tip Tuesday – Plant These To Save The Bees

There is quite a misconception among some people that all bee’s will sting them and thus, need to be killed. And that could not be farther from the truth (and would also basically spell the end of us humans, as well…)

Plant these to Save the Bees

These small and extremely hard-working insects actually make it possible for many of your favorite foods to reach your table. There is a reason the term “worker bees” came about!

Of 100 crop species that provide 90% of our global food supply, 71 are bee-pollinated. Bees are pollinators, and without pollinators many plants —including food crops — would die off. Without these food crops, what would we eat?

We need the bees, and the bees need US! Honeybee colonies are dying at alarming rates, and bumblebees are also in danger.

Do your part! Here are some Herbs, Perennials, and Annuals you can plant to help save the bees!
