Motivation Monday – Fitness Journal

Do you keep a fitness journal? I don’t… but I think I need to start.

Not only will it help me see where I thrive, and where I struggle, its a great way to further document my journey, and that’s a really powerful tool to have on days you don’t feel like you are making any progress, or just unmotivated.

Can you think of any other reasons?

  1. Fitness journals can also unintentionally motivate others. Sometimes people need to see that they’re not the only ones struggling and going through ups and downs. The great thing is that if they do follow from the beginning, you have people to celebrate with when you meet your goals. I wish I would’ve done a fitness journal a couple years ago, now really doesn’t seem necessary as I’m just trying to maintain. Hope it goes well!


    1. That is so true, good point! It’s true that people need to see that others struggle too – its not always easy for ANYONE!

      Good for you for trying to maintain – I am in the same boat and sometimes it’s hard to stay motivated (especially post-wedding!), but I am determined! Cheers to us! 🙂
