This is a very tart and sweet recipe, which is perfect for when you are craving as such… I don’t like overly sweet stuff but every once in a great while, that’s the taste I am going for!
I think the pomegranate is a little under-appreciated. I don’t think many are aware of how awesomely powerful these colorful little dudes are. Pomegranates contain high levels of flavonoids and polyphenols, potent antioxidants offering protection against heart disease and cancer. A glass of pomegranate juice has more antioxidants than red wine, green tea, blueberries, and cranberries! What’s not to love about them?!
