Okay, full honesty here… I didn’t really care for either Chocolate OR Peanut Butter growing up. Sure, I would enjoy a Reese’s occasionally, but I was never one to sit and eat a scoop of Peanut Butter (yes, I know people who do this…) and Chocolate was usually pretty far off my radar.
Fast forward to just a few years ago, and I discovered what most people went nuts about – Chocolate and Peanut Butter is literally one of the best combinations of all time.
Seriously, it’s ridiculous! My fiancé is the type to always have Reese’s stashed in the freezer (they are even better frozen!). I will eat them here and there but it’s not something I indulge in too much because, they taste so good but are not very good for you!
With my Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Shakeology, I get the same taste, in a healthier version. This recipe and the taste has been 100% vouched by my fiancé as tasty and authentic (and he really is a chocolate/Peanut Butter aficionado, so that testimony should tell you something!) I feel MUCH better knowing I can get the same taste in a much healthier, diabetic-friendly version!
Worth noting: PB2 is a healthier alternative to Peanut Butter, and tastes just as delicious and authentic as real Peanut Butter. PB2 is available in most grocery stores, you should give it a try!
